The purpose of this blog is to just share my ideas on a few topics; food, hair, and writings. I am no expert by any means, but I do have a strong opinion and don't mind sharing my thoughts. I hope that this blog can be used as an eye opener, words of encouragement, or an idea about what to do or not do with your hair. The hands on my blog are just an illustration of me and my love for people and my willingness to always lend a helping hand. I hope the blog will edify and give God the glory.
About Me
- Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
- Creativity would best define me whether it be in the form of food, hair, writing, or self development. Although each of these is quite different they are all interconnected. I use them all as a way of escape, self awareness, and empowerment. I feel as though if I can make a difference in at least one person’s life I’m happy. These three things afford me the opportunity to make a difference.

Oven Baked Carrots
Baby carrots cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, stevia, sea salt. The aroma is outstanding. Simple but good healthy snack.
Distritos/ Guapos Taco Truck Revel, AC
Pollo Tacos - chicken tops vieja, queso fresco, avocado, radish
Arroz Con Frijoles Negros- black beans rice
The food is outstanding authentic Mexican Cuisine. I love the service, atmosphere, and the food. I wish I could've given my gratitude to the chef in Spanish MUY BIEN ( couldn't think at the time). I really feel like I just spent a day in Cancun :)

Jacobs Restaurant in Harlem
Many things I didn't eat like the red meats or pork. I just enjoyed taking pictures of the presentation a clear indication of eating with the eyes first, and the owner evidently gets it. Everything was tasty well prepared with vibrant colors. This is definitely one of Harlem's best kept secrets. I can't wait to return. Jamaican cuisine/soul food. Make you want to smack somebody, but not my mamma. Located on Malcolm
