The purpose of this blog is to just share my ideas on a few topics; food, hair, and writings. I am no expert by any means, but I do have a strong opinion and don't mind sharing my thoughts. I hope that this blog can be used as an eye opener, words of encouragement, or an idea about what to do or not do with your hair. The hands on my blog are just an illustration of me and my love for people and my willingness to always lend a helping hand. I hope the blog will edify and give God the glory.
About Me
- Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
- Creativity would best define me whether it be in the form of food, hair, writing, or self development. Although each of these is quite different they are all interconnected. I use them all as a way of escape, self awareness, and empowerment. I feel as though if I can make a difference in at least one person’s life I’m happy. These three things afford me the opportunity to make a difference.

Maggianos Little Italy
Maggianos is a nice Italian restaurant for any one to enjoy an individual or family style meal. They are also happy to cater and host your next banquet style meal. The prices are well worth the quality and quantity of food. The atmosphere is an intimate family style. I loved the service especially the manager going to every table to see if the meal was enjoyed.
Steamed Mussels Tuscan Style
Chicken Francese, Broccoli , potatoes
Egg Plant Parmesan.
Maggianos Salad
Everything was cooked to perfection. I especially like the specialty pasta because you order a dish $12.95 and they prepare another one for you to take. The next time you're in Cherry Hill, it's a must visit.

Honey's Sit N Eat
Honey's a vintage style Dive/Restaurant that creates dishes with an organic earthy flair. They use the freshest ingredients to awaken the palate. It's a small restaurant that was full to capacity, but they had a rapid turnover. I decided to visit Honey's Sit N Eat after viewing Guy Fieri on Diners Drive Ins and Dives.

Jacobs Restaurant in Harlem
Many things I didn't eat like the red meats or pork. I just enjoyed taking pictures of the presentation a clear indication of eating with the eyes first, and the owner evidently gets it. Everything was tasty well prepared with vibrant colors. This is definitely one of Harlem's best kept secrets. I can't wait to return. Jamaican cuisine/soul food. Make you want to smack somebody, but not my mamma. Located on Malcolm

Fornelletto @ The Borgata
What wonderful experience I had visiting Fornelletto @ Borgata Casino in AC NJ. My server Fabian was fantastic he served our meal in a timely manner with interest to please. I loved everything about this place. I entered by going into the cellar which gave a rustic Italian vibe. The wine cellar was fabulous to look at and I imagine great for tasting but I'm not a drinker. My 3 course meal included appetizer S. Remo Pizza, 1st Calamaretti Salad, 2nd Paccheri, 3rd tiramisu . EXCELLENT!!! In my Italian hand signal (thumb touching index finger and remaining finger straight out. Can't wait until my next visit.
